The Sew Together Bag is a handy little bag with three zippered pockets, four open pockets, a pincushion, all held together by a zipper that forms two handles. This bag will easily hold your 8″ scissors, rotary cutter, marking pencils, seam ripper, extra needles, thread and much more.

If you are ready to make a bag of your own you can pick up the pattern here. Sew Together Bag pattern. I recommend grabbing a paper pattern, as this bag requires a template and I don't trust my printer to print true to size. For the outer panel I chose to go scrappy, digging into my Art Gallery scraps. Using scraps from my Art Gallery Clover.

1: I switched out the interfacing for the exterior to peltex. I like stiff bags and this definitely gives it a stiffer feel. I also used shape-flex to interface the interior pockets. Again, this was a personal choice because I want my bag to keep its shape. 2: The exterior is pieced, and I love it! I used 2″ squares and my little 3-1/4.

Binding fabric: 1 fat quarter. 1/2 yard lightweight fusible interfacing ( I use SF101) Qty (1) 18″ zipper & Qty (3) 9″ zippers ( I love this kit - super easy) wool roving or similar stuffing for pin cushion. wool felt for needle.
