You can take the local ferry to Formentor beach from Puerto Pollensa. It takes 25 minutes, and it runs regularly from May to October. The price is approx. 13,50€ for the return ticket. It is a great way to get there, as the views on the boat trip are sublime, passing Sa Fortaleza, small coves and a beautiful scenery.
