Abu Dhabi has now seen the highest number of flamingo chicks since the breeding season that started around 15th March. The Al Wathba Wetland Reserve was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and was one of the first protected sites in the region to help the wildlife in the area thrive.
