Plaything and Face The Darkness work on any available dull totem, so as long as there is space, the Hex will take up that dull totem.

Face the darkness is either broken or so worthless because I never see screams from it at all Not to mention, it's supposed to reveal their aura for 2 seconds after they scream, but that doesn't matter because of the giant ass bubble that appears when they scream. It covers them completely for those 2 seconds

Tier 1 Myers with Hex: Face the Darkness, Hex: Undying, Sloppy Butcher, and whatever fourth perk you want, I used Bloodhound, and the Boyfriend's Memo add-on. Tier 1 Myers has no terror radius, so every survivor who's not the hexed one will scream. Hit one survivor, then chase them around. Sloppy means they can't heal bit by bit mid-chase.

I've been running a hex build with Face the Darkness, Undying, Devour Hope, and Thrill of the Hunt on Wraith and been getting Devour Hope to fairly consistently activate. The trick is you need to not down the person who has it active. Keep track of who the totem is active on and try not to down them, but also make sure to apply it to someone.
