A complete rework based on Tripp Trapp Trofast Clip (metal basket). That model gave me the idea, that it's much better to mount the adapter directly on the chair instead of the box itself. I've recreated the model ensuring that it would fit the IKEA Trofast plastic storage box. Version 4 works much better compared to the earlier 3 iterations.

That's genius. I just got the Stokke CLIKK! I did a ton of research and basically found that the Tripp Trapp and IKEA Antilop were the most popular/recommended but the Tripp Trapp is ridiculously expensive and IMO fugly as hell, and the Antilop required too many accessories and modifications to be the ideal chair.

The Tripp Trapp with baby kit, cover and tray cost us about $500 + taxes. I'm thinking I can sell it on Kijiji for $250-300, buy the 2 new chairs and make.

So I'm thinking about the IKEA high chair instead. Anyone have advice or had both at one point? Is the Tripp Trapp really worth it to go into the red in our budget haha?
