Museum Rijswijk is gevestigd in een fraai herenhuis dat dateert uit circa 1790, midden in het oude centrum van Rijswijk. Links van het huis ligt de museumingang die in 1994 werd gebouwd. Schuin daarachter - niet zichtbaar vanaf de straat - bevindt zich de in 2012 gerealiseerde nieuwbouw.
