Sketch Afternoon Tea Menu. As I mentioned, the high tea menu consists of a traditional Afternoon Tea or Tea with Bubble. Can we all agree that Bubble is a way better word than Champagne? Prices start at 80 pounds per person but plan to spend more because you obviously need the tea with bubbles option which is 94 Pounds per person. Totally worth it.

The Sketch Afternoon Tea menu includes a selection of finger sandwiches such as cucumber and ricotta, coronation chicken, salmon and Jacob's cream, foie gras and eggs truffle gougere. It also includes sultana scones with clotted cream (my favorite!) and homemade strawberry jam.

It's hard to find a "cheap" afternoon tea in London - you'll be paying between £40 and £65. But in my experience the price ( usually) reflects the service and quality. At £59 per person Sketch is by no means "cheap" but it is the average price in London for afternoon tea. And in my opinion, the price plus the tip really was.

Waitresses scoot golden tea trollies around the room, each one stacked with glass jars of aromatic loose leaf teas - there are at least 40 to pick from, including whole rosebud, matcha, white peony and Taiwan red jade.

The other highlight of this special Afternoon Tea was the platter of desserts, featuring two categories of cakes: first the traditional ones, like Victoria Sponge, Strawberry Cheesecake, Scones, which everyone agreed were all succulent. Really interesting cheesecake, with a different texture from the one I knew, slightly softening the sweetness.
