Dean Ellis "Art" has always been in my life, since I was a child, I've been surrounded by art and artists, so it's only a natural progression that I end up being some form of artist. I have a formal education in Fine Art and in the past I was extensively involved in the graphic arts fields, but that has passed and now I am able to work.

Dean Ellis (1920-2009) was born in Detroit, Michigan, and served as an infantryman in the Pacific during WWII. He received his formal art training at the Cleveland Institute of Art, with postgraduate work at the Boston Museum School of Fine Art.
